What is INSCI?
The concept of an Integrated National Schistosomiasis Control Initiative has evolved out of those working on the parasitic disease, monitoring, treating, educating and evaluating.
Individually no single organisation can impact on this disease - it will require and INTEGRATED approach, at a NATIONAL level if we are ever to see a realistic and sustainable SCHISTOSOMIASIS CONTROL INITIATIVE!!
So, out of the Forum in March 2012, it is expected that a 'co-ordinating' organisation will provide guidance and support for those in the front lines of attacking this socio-economically devastating disease.
